Groups and Responsibilities · Administration is responsible for billing, budgeting, internal departmental communication, reception, and support. · Data Centre Services manages data centers and server-based applications. · Desktop Support provides support services for desktop computers, peripherals, portables and wireless devices. · Education and Communications provides educational services as well as departmental communications like this Website and Technology Update. · Help Desk group runs the 24x7, 365-day-a-year Help Desk support service for schools, business organisations and individuals or Groups. · Information Security manages implementation of network security measures and heads up security incident response. · Network Engineering deploys and maintains the wired and wireless networks, as well as remote networks at other sites. · Procurement handles computer and peripheral device acquisitions, and manages the Technology store.
